omg okay let me tell you the best thing ever.
as you may or may not know, i am quite nearsighted and have dark brown hair. in november i tried to dye my hair blonde, but i did it wrong and it ended up a sort of bright orangey red-brown, which i kept out of sheer laziness. a little after christmas, i ran out of contact lenses, and have been wearing my glasses ever since.

oh my god i just picked up my meds from the pharmacy, and it came with several little pamphlets about suicidal thoughts and/ or actions.
well
this is surprisingly awkward.
today i cleaned my room, ordered new contacts, bought a vacuum, and filled a prescription. it’s funny, because obviously these are all very mundane and boring things, but it’s honestly things like this that make me feel like an adult, like i’m independent and taking care of myself and getting things done, possibly in large part because i’ve never done any of the above...
